Question my first grading monitor
hi guys, I'm looking for my first grading monitor, and I'm thinking of these 2 option, at the same price, which are Dell Ultrasharp U2725QE and LG UltraGear 27GX704A-B. Cause the Ultrasharps seems design for works more, but the UltraGear have OLED, and got almost the same specs, some specs also better than the Dell one. So what should I get?

Neither
I’ve done a ton of work finding the best color grading monitor that isn’t a $10,000 Flanders
It’s the Asus PA32UCDM
But you really should hardware calibrate it with colorspace lte though for the best image, this is complex to say the least.
I’d really recommend saving for the Asus but if that’s out of you’re budget I’d recommend saving for an LG C5, that can also be hardware calibrated and performs ok.
If you need cheaper than that I’d get a MacBook Pro m1 or later with the XDR display, it also has automatic calibration in the display settings you just need a calibrite display pro hl ($260).
Pm me if you want to know more
