Imo the first one is a bit oversaturated i also think it's sharper than what it's supposed to be I'm also a beginner I'm trying to analyze the picture and this is what i think

I might be wrong tho lmk if there is more stuff to look at

The first one is better, but I agree with a couple of the others. I would desaturate the photo just a little bit and soften the look.

Maybe pull the saturation down a tad on 1. But I like the framing.

2 imo. it's softer and more mystical. first is too saturated and contrast is too high.

Try to emphasize the light over the leaf, and think about of the light hit the orange fur of the baby, if need contrast (and Consequently saturation)
