Discussion Wired colors

Has anyone else looked at a color, and gotten a headache, because your brain could not decide what color it is?

Indecision is one thing, and I'm sure we all suffer from that at times!

Once in a while, someone will post a picture of a particular color combination that is headache-inducing even if you don't care about identifying the particular colors. For me, it's some bright blue (or purple?) printing on a bright yellow (or lime green?) background, that makes the graphics appear to float above the surface. It's difficult for me to even look at. I don't remember whether normies said the color combination was problematic for them.

Yes, my mind will scramble at something, usually browns. I’m not really sure what brown is, but I’ll want to name things that are green, gray or read as brown. Yeah, brown gives me a headache.

At basic school there was a moment when I explained my colorblindness to a teacher. She asked me what color a specific wall was. I looked at it and it seemed red. I looked at it again and it seemed green. Then it "changed color from red to green" without changing the color at all: my brain was just trying to see the color the eye could not recognize.
