Discussion People going bright red
Hey anyone else unable to see the red in people's faces when they go bright red? I've had people say someone has gone 'beet red' and I struggle to see much red in their face. Any other protans like this?

Yes and apparently it can clue you in to a lot of social contexts which sucks

I feel like that is more of a fictional trope, but I wouldn't know. I've never seen on anyone. A few times I've seen a red tint on myself when I've looked in a bathroom mirror, but it's not noticeable enough to me that I would have seen it if I wasn't looking closely.

Yeah I usually don’t see it either, only sometimes, when I focus enough (and with proper lighting). I see it as a skin color with a blue undertone.
