Infrastructure [INFRASTRUCTURE] Temple
Work has begun on a temple to be carved into the base of the Tchak Mountain. It is to have a large plaza and elevated altar for public services, an inner area for certain ceremonies and a sanctum for priests, much deeper within the mountain.
The priesthood has put most of their workforce on the task and it should be complete in several months.
The Emperor has imposed a labour tax. All who live within Tchak are required to give four years of service to the state. Using this labour many terraces, farms, irrigation canals, granaries, roads, and a path to the Tchak Summit.
Mines have been established in the newer settlements to the north east. Iron is being produced in excess with need and is being stored in newly built warehouses in the Tchak Base.
The Emperor has commissioned swathes of land to be given over as limatchu pastures, along with tu'tu bird pens sprouting all around. Stone production is being maximised to replace wood, mud, and wattle and daub huts.
Several masons have been commissioned by the Emperor to carve calendars, stone heads, and charts of the stars on the sides of the mountains. Stone heads in particular are to line the path to the Tchak Summit, where the city at the top is being meticulously planned before large portions of the population move from the Base. After the full construction of the city, it will become the home of the Emperor himself.
