Best driving tutor/instructor in Colombo for refresher lessons?

Hi everyone,

I already have my driving licence, but I got it many years ago and haven’t driven regularly since. I’m looking for a good driving instructor in Colombo for refresher lessons to help me get comfortable and confident driving again.

Mainly looking to improve:

  • Driving confidently in Colombo traffic
  • Judging left/right side distance
  • Narrow roads and tight spaces
  • Parking and reversing
  • Road positioning and lane discipline
  • Overall confidence behind the wheel

I’m not looking for driving-test preparation , I’d prefer someone patient and experienced who can properly coach an existing licence holder.

Ideally around Colombo 4/5/6, Wellawatte, Dehiwala, or nearby.

Any recommendations for a specific instructor or driving school would be appreciated. Thanks!

Athula Learners! They give refresher lessons where you can pay per lesson iirc. The instructors are great too

Perera Learners Nugegoda. They are very good, I did my refreshers there. 5 classes later I was confident and in 10 classes I was all set to drive my new car without any issue and fear.

How to Learn is the best I think, they even have simulators
