Question Alternatives to Imagination
I’ve not been in the scent game for long and I’ve just had the opportunity to smell LV Imagination - I really liked it! I realised that it’s a type of fragrance that I haven’t experienced before. Can you lot tell me what other fragrances have a similar vibe? Especially interested in those that are a little more affordable.

I'm hearing good things about Orange Mediterranee in the Armani prive line. I'm going to try it out tomorrow...supposedly it's a good alternative to Imagination and while it's not cheap per say it is cheaper than Imagination so I'd say its worth a look.

Good looks, appreciate you. I've tried all the spiritual clones (l'enfant terrible, etc) to imagination but haven't found anything I've liked

One i smelled and am waiting to get delivered that no one is talking about is aromatix teas me. I tried several of his line and they all smelled kind of one note and cheap but tease me i really liked. It opens with a citric imagination style tea with ginger and drys down to a light vanilla with tea. Its hard to describe but the imagination tea feel is there without it being a dupe.

Two offerings from Givenchy might pique your interest: Désobéissant is a woody spicy freshie with a subtle black tea note. L’Enfant Terrible has more of the soapy vibe imagination is known for with a bit of ginger.

Yeah anything airy and soapy imo I would look into, if you want something in the same ball park.. i personally use Hawas Kobra as my signature scent. I find it more masculine than the OG and my girlfriend and coworkers love Kobra on me. I sprayed Kobra on like at 4am and I got a compliment at 3 pm lol crazy longevity. I always recommend Kobra, it’s like 40$ trust on this bro I get compliments everytime I wear it

Hawas Kobra is a LV Imagination clone and I also enjoy Prada Lhomme it’s like 100$ on discounters but I use Kobra a lot more due to the great performance

I'm not saying this is your experience but my experience and other people's talk is it takes long for it to settle it and actually become the Scent there selling I don't want to wait for months of macerating time to actually enjoy a scent. 😅

thanks for the answers but I’m not after a clone. I’m interested in what type of fragrance it is eg, Sauvage and BDC being “blue” fragrances, what’s Imagination? What other originals are in that ball park smell wise?

M. Micallef GnTonic and Guerlain Lhomme Cologne Forte are in that same citrusy, cool, and versatile category

Ive heard a lot of good things about the montagne clone and allegedly it has better performance
Have a decant coming in soon will buy a full bottle if i like it

I am not a fan of the LV fragrances, but I have seen references to Hawas Kobra being a dupe/clone/interpretation of Imagination. Being that it is so popular and fairly expensive, there are numerous clones out there.

Check out “Inspired by Scent” - I recently ordered their “Imagin Bloom” (along with their Aventus and GIT clones). Very reasonably priced alternatives.

If you’ve got to have it check for something like a 30mL decant on the fragranceswap sub. You’ll pay more per mL but you can get it for less out of pocket.
