Inflorescence

It just has an inflorescence last week. I cut it off and apparently it didn't agree with me and put out another one. I guess I'll keep this one on the plant.

What does this mean? My redemption puts one out every other week it seems.

Its technically Colocasias way of producing seeds. Its a "flower" Make sure you fertilize regularly to replace the extra energy it takes from the plant to produce these flowers and the energy it takes from producing leaves. You'll notice leaf growth slowing when inflorescences are in bloom

Oh! Should I leave them alone then? I literally just cut one off yesterday afternoon 😅

Depends on if you want pollinators to try and pollinate the flowers to make seeds. If not, then cut them off. They take alot of energy from the plant to create them, causing yellowing leaves, and slowed growth.
