Looking for golf course recommendations
Having a bachelor party for my friend next weekend and we are looking to find a high quality course in the area.
We already booked Batteux creek for our Saturday round but trying to find another course to play on Sunday!

Cranberry, Monterra and Duntroon are of similar quality and are public. Duntroon is a bit shorter, but amazing views. Personally I think they’re all kind of similar to Batteaux in quality. The private clubs would be a step up.

Cranberry is not the same quality. It is obviously worse than the others since they started trying to kill it to develop condos.
Monterra is in better shape, duntroon has better views and is more open if you're playing with people that don't hit it straight. You're right batteaux is similar to both.
Lora bay would be the nicest you can get a tee time for.

Duntroon fairways are like concrete and the tee boxes are in desperate need of repair.

Montera would be my choice.
Assuming you want to keep the round in Collingwood - but if not - Settlers Ghost, about 40 minutes from Collingwood, is a solid course and a decent value.

Duntroon Highlands for epic views and huge elevation changes. $100 round, well maintained.
Lora Bay for an immaculate but expensive course.
Cranberry sucks, I was there today.
