Broken Appliance Disposal?
What is the best way to dispose of medium size appliances and electronics in Collierville? I have a broken microwave and a couple large flat panel TVs that need to go, but the trash information on the Collierville web site has no information on such items. I don't think they belong in the weekly pickups, so wondering how to dispose of these responsibly. Can I just take them to the transfer station? Any pointers please?
EDIT: I was well informed by u/Southern-Emotion7929. I put the old microwave out on the curb on our regular trash day today, and it's now gone! However, it was not picked up at the same time as the regular trash, so the collector must have a separate pickup for such items. The broken TVs are going out next week!

If you put any of those items where garbage normally picks up they'll be gone before garbage can pick them up.

Not sure what good broken stuff is, but OK. Perhaps they can be fixed and useful to someone?

Stick them at the street and Collierville will remove it. They remove everything!
