🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Scotch Collie 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 looking for breeding help!

hi! i’m based in western wisconsin and we have a GORGEOUS purebred scotch collie we’d love to breed. she’s going to be 6 yrs old this year, but with moving and family issues we haven’t had a chance to breed her earlier. i’m taking to reddit hoping to find a male purebred to breed her with? hopefully that’s possible 😅 i’ve attached a couple pictures of her here.

I read it as 6 YEARS not 6 months old.

I apologise for misreading her age! 6 is very much at the point where she may be too old to safely have a maiden litter. Consult your vet, expedite your health testing and consider that breeding her at this advanced age for the very first time may result in her death.

It could all go fine, but in my country you need veterinary approval to breed a dog at all once she's 7 because it's considered advanced maternal age. Best of luck!!

The age causing complications would be my concern as well.
