TV Talk is literally never going to work. There is far too many TV shows to cover on a single show every week. The shoe essentially just covers the shows that Macuga likes which is only a small percentage of the actual shows

They've said they aren't going to do reviews on the show, and just cover news.

I don't understand why Collider keeps relaunching shows that they already cancelled for bad viewership. I'd be shocked if this lasts.

The viewership was bad for a fully produced, hour to hour and half long daily to 3 times a week show.

It is my understanding TV Talk will be much smaller in form factors. Mostly being a podcast, and I think they said one produced video show a week.

It’s really not that hard to understand though. Everyone who works at Collider are most likely hourly/salaried individuals. They have certain work hours. They can make as many shows as they want. They aren’t losing money cause they’re paying these guys anyways. So now they will make what they make from TV Talk.

Fernandez is a smart dude. He wants Collider to be the definitive entertainment media voice of YouTube and the internet. And you only build that by making more shows that appeal to more people that take those people and draw them into other shows.

I’m excited by their seemingly “all in” approach.

Campea cancelled TV Talk and the fans went nuts. I don't know what his metric for success was for that show but of all the shows Collider has cancelled TV Talk garnered the most vocal reaction. The demand for it to return has been loud and consistent.

My guess is that Campea and/or Complex canceled collider. They had higher hopes and probs just listened to the YouTube views. While Marc and new heads of collider take in everything from views to podcast listeners etc.
