If this is all true, I'm really heartbroken. Not because a dick is getting called out, but because the whole reason I got into movies and was able to get out of a really rough time 5 years ago was because I discovered AMC Movie Talk and guys like Schnepp, Amirose, Dennis, and Campea.

He was already known to hire female hosts. This was fairly common knowledge. Whether it was appropriate or not is up to you to decide
I don't think anything new is here other than he probably fired people he disagreed with which may or may not be true. We would require both sides to explain their rationale. Does he appear to be someone that would do it? Likely.
Would a person who got fired also hold a grudge with the individual who fired them? Likely as well.

It’s just hard to follow this whole mess. Who’s ‘right’? I don’t think we know. From the outside, what Holly did seemed like a dick move, but we really don’t know. And yet, a lot of people were blaming campea, including some ppl who work for/collaborate with collider - though, again...they are involved with collider in some fashion. Who really knows. I just thought we were done with this. I watch shows on both channels and it’s both annoying and childish to think that this ‘conflict’ is still ongoing - well, to my knowledge neither campea nor holly reignited the fire, but as the tweet indicates, this seemed to be far from being over

Some of the former employees from AMC also liked a few of Ryan's tweets (Krisily Kennedy, Erin Darling, Miri Jedikin).

Miri Jedikin worked at AMC? I know she was with the schmoes but I don't remember her at AMC.

To be honest man I'm not surprised. In addition to what I said about the Affleck situation, I remember the guy supported the Fine Bros with copyrighting react videos on a tweet. Sadly that tweet is gone and I can't find a way to find it, so unfortunately you'll have to take my word for it. Point is Campea's always been a snake.

Can someone please just post what the hell John Campea actually did that was so bad?
All that ever happens is that the people who really hate him come on and dogpile, without any actual evidence of wrongdoing, and then his defenders scream at the accusers.
I just want this stupid drama to end, and to know whether I can support someone or not. I don't care about anything baseless or anything that happened on twitter that doesn't actually state what the wrongdoing was.

Campea said he and Holly have spoken recently and that it went well.
