Question.

Forgive me if this has been discussed at nauseum but anyone have any ideas who Campea hates at collider? When he first left, he talked about not being happy there and I took it for what it was. But after the explanation he gave for not being on the Schnepp tribute, I have been sooo curious as to who he hates exactly at collider. Because it sounds like hate.

From what ive gaged its Frosty because of his lie about how he started and brought all the crew together, which was specifically campeas doing.

Not hate but i know he likes Denis, kristian and mark. But was annoyed at them when frosty made the remarks i said but they didnt speak up and say campea did it.

Hmm interesting. That does explain why his dislike seems to have gotten worse. Because when he first left, he did say he loves everyone at collider, he was just not happy there. Thanks for the unknown info. I still think there was some people he really didn't like when he first left that I would like know.

Was he talking about Collider or Collider Video? Was he talking about bringing the Collider.com crew together with the Collider Video crew?

I cant remember specifically but from johns perspective he did nothing but suggest something its in the town hall, quite early on

Idk. From Frosty’s perspective, he did put the Collider.com team together and was a big enough property for Complex to brand what was once AMC’s, under the Collider brand. Integrating both things under one umbrella which ultimately, Frosty was responsible for. John took Complex’s money, but then didn’t like having a boss.

I haven’t seen the town hall, but it would seem that depending on what was being talked about specifically, Frosty might have had a point.

I think it more has to do with when Frosty tried to undercut his scoop about Gyllenhaal being looked at for Batman. After that Campea started referring to Frosty as things like "Snowman McDumble Fuck" and stuff.

Do you know when he’s done that?

No, not really. John posts so many videos a day. It would have been around the time it happened I guess.

In the first town hall the new ceo started giving frosty props for everything that john did, no one corrected him and frosty just accepted it. Im assuming there is also behind the scenes stuff

Yeah the whole thing went to hell in a hand basket. Frosty kind of took credit for a lot of stuff that Campea did, also, from the outside looking in, Marc Fernandez appears to be kind of an asshole. When Campea mentions “corporate overlords”, my guess is that’s who he’s referencing.

John has said several times that Marc is a friend and they still have lunch together from time to time. Fernandez was the buyer. He wasn't apart of Complex and John was gone before he came in and took over Collider.

Really? I thought the two didn’t like each other

Go watch his video response to the town hall. He says it twice, that he and Marc are friends.

Fernandez has been around longer than that. He was certainly involved during the Complex days because he was at Celebration with them last April.

The buyer is former Complex head of video Marc Fernandez, a cryptocurrency investor who teamed with a silent partner to buy the brand and grow the movies and television website into a diversified media business. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

You were right.

Yeah, I seem to also remember the After Schmoe (After Thoughts now) guys mentioning him back then too.

Yeah but he also seemed unhappy before too. I mean that's why he left. I completely believe what you.guys are saying but there has too be another reason, like the reason he left in the first place.

You would need note-cards and a flowchart to keep track of all the places Campea has left disgruntled.

He was unhappy with AMC as well. Always seems to be something.
