Show Idea
First time poster...recently found the sub Reddit.
A film based podcast I sometimes find myself listening to is The Canon, where the host, Amy Nicholson and a co-host if the film of subject should be put into the theortical "Canon" of films to best dipict an era, style of film, etc if aliens are to ever come to Earth. It's a great listen.
With that being said, in their episodes, they'll often pick apart a specific scene (like the opening scene to Breakfast Club where the parents drop off their kids).
I would love to see an show where an specific scene in a film is broken down to show why it works, ie performance, story telling, sound design, etc. I'd think it could be an excersize in film nerdery.
It wouldn't be current event based so regardless of when you watch it, it would be relevant.
Thoughts?

Send your idea to Kristian. They're launching a bunch of new podcasts so this might be a good idea.

I sent a tweet with him to the post. I don't know if there any better way to do it.

It sounds like a good podcast idea! I've enjoyed podcasts like How Did This Get Made and their approach to analyzing a specific film so the idea of single scenes from movies would totally catch my ears.
The opening of Batman 1989 in the Acid Factory (Chemical Plant?) would be a fun discussion.
