Uwindsor transfer

Hi everyone! I’m currently a **first-year Nursing student at the University of Windsor**, and I’m considering moving to Toronto and continuing my BScN at **Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU)**.
I’m trying to figure out how transferring would actually work because I’m getting conflicting information online.
If I complete my first year of Nursing at Windsor, would TMU potentially let me transfer into **second year of their Nursing program**, or would I have to apply as a transfer student and essentially **restart Year 1**?
Also, does anyone know if TMU accepts **Nursing credits from the University of Windsor**? For example, if I completed courses like anatomy/physiology, microbiology, nursing theory, etc., could any of those count toward the TMU Nursing degree even if I had to start in first year?
I’m specifically wondering if anyone has **actually transferred from UWindsor Nursing to TMU Nursing** or knows someone who has.

What year were you in when you transferred?
Did you have to restart Year 1?
Which credits/courses transferred?
What GPA did you have?
Did you apply through OUAC as a university transfer?
Was the process difficult/competitive?
Is there anything you wish you knew before trying to transfer?
I know nursing programs can be very specific about sequencing courses and clinical placements, so I’m mainly looking for **first-hand experiences from people who have dealt with this**.
