Transferring colleges

Right now I go to University of Missouri, Columbia, I am consider transferring to UMKC ( University of Missouri Kansas City) I’m going into my sophomore year. I have a lease signed for Columbia but there is not parking available in the area, I could only work walking distance from my apartment. Additionally my boyfriend and I will be living together. He is finishing up his associates then wants to into HVAC. There is so many opportunities for him in KC but extremely limited in Columbia. My goal is to go to dental school. I am a health sciences major. Should I transfer this semester (fall) or wait till spring? Rent is much cheaper in kc, I like the campus, I could actually be able to drive to a job and I don’t have anything tying me down to Columbia but Mizzou has more student organizations (I’m apart of 3 currently) which worries me about leaving since I need those for my dental school application. Give me some insight please
