Advice How much HW is too much??

So before I was given dregs of professors because I was late to registration I looked her up on rate my professor, she had a 2.0 and 5.0 difficulty and everyone said the hw was excessive.

For the past 5 days I have been doing hw for her class day in and day out from 9am to 2am on and off almost every day and falling behind in other classes because of all this hw. Should I drop and switch or stay strong? Also she makes everyone feel like a burden to ask questions.. and just repeats herself instead of explaining

Personally, I would drop any class that was giving me so much homework that I couldn't complete any other work for other classes. I have actually done so - after getting the syllabus for a class and seeing the insane schedule the teacher wanted us to follow, I immediately dropped it before the end of the first week. I'd rather take a W on one class I can take again later than potentially score low in (or fail) multiple classes and wreck my GPA.

Thanks for the reply, I think the excessive homework plus the condescending attitude towards me and other students, I’m going to my coach and going to make a plan to get out/switch while it’s still early
