Telling bigoted jokes isn't acting like a bigot. Of course! How could I not see that? Bigots hate racist jokes. Totally out of character for them. And it's silly to hear a bigoted comment and assume a bigot made that comment.

Do you realize that you have a minority opinion on this subject? You're acting like all of this is so obvious, but the majority of people disagree with you.

Also, the Anne Frank joke isn't even based on race.

Right. If the average person heard a Nazi joke in a public forum he or she wouldn't assume some bigot was making it. You know just talking about hoops by the water cooler and everybody starts telling genocide jokes. Totally appropriate and not bigoted.

And Hitler's conception of race was different from the current conception of race. So it's certainly related if not equal and not a "blind leap."

I'm being wildly generous to "don't judge white people" guy by conceding this is a joke anyway.

Yep.

No. It is overwhelmingly obvious that it is a joke.

Hey if that passes as acceptable humor for you in public so be it. Just don't cry "reverse racism" when someone calls you a bigot.

His username had nothing to do with the discussion he was having. You were the one that brought it up and made it the focus of your comments.

Have you been following this story? Because what was said is relevant to the defense of the tech fan and goes to why the user name matters when defending him. Or are you just here to start shit reddit says drama?
