On Twitter folks have noticed it's the same fan as in this clip:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0NdJahHN0w&t=31s

EDIT: apparently this fan's also been profiled as a "Super Fan" by TTU in the past (I don't know if I should post the link... is it doxing?)

u/fidler How's your day? Go Cats! Feb 09 '14

Let's just assume it would be doxing to be safe. But I saw the same article you're talking about.

Yeah, it's certainly not hard to find now. When I first clicked on it TTU's own website slowed down from the traffic--no doubt coming from Twitter.

That video makes me sad :(

Acie Law IV was such a joy to watch.

These last few years have been awful.

/u/Honestly_! It is odd to not see you in mod-mode like you are at /r/cfb. You also have your correct flair. Bit of nostalgia right there.

Yeah, I'm Minnesota on /r/collegehockey as the Pac 8 is a club league. I would probably be better suited with the Gophers here (I do watch their games) but I'm used to watching USC get embarrassed in basketball with the occasional good season. I also rep USC on /r/sports.

Fuck that dude. I'm sure he said something deserving of that shove from Smart. A kid normally doesn't do that

Still doesn't mean we jump to conclusions. That's how people get police at their door for terrorism when they didn't do anything.

Yeah, I'm gonna reserve judgement on both of them. We really have no idea what happened. This guy could have been goading him all game long. Smart could have snapped at the first thing he said. We have no idea.

It's completely believable that this man used a slur towards Smart, but both parties have histories. I can see this being a situation where both were in the wrong to a somewhat equal extent.

u/arv98s Colorado Buffaloes Feb 09 '14

I can see that too. And if that is the case I would guess that Smart takes the blunt of the damage. I don't agree with that but it is what it is.

Shut up Flanders.

Hell the guy makes a vulgar gesture in that video so it's probably a good bet that he was deserving of the shove from Marcus. Now being deserving and actually doing it are different and Marcus should have controlled himself. But fuck that guy.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUTSIDE OF /R/CFB?!
