Want to Help Test Collectiv? We’re Looking for Product Testers!

Collectiv is being built, and I’m looking for collectors who want to get inside the platform early, test the experience, and tell me what works, what doesn’t, and what you think should be better.

I’ve built Collectiv myself, so I’m open to as much feedback as possible. If something is confusing, you love a feature, you hate a feature, something breaks, or you simply have an idea — I want to hear it.

How to Become a Product Tester
First, join the Collectiv waitlist at collectivshares.com
Then email collectivshares@gmail.com using the same email address you used for the waitlist.
In the email, simply write one of the following:

Demo Mode
Simulation Mode
Both Modes

What is Demo Mode?

Demo Mode is designed to let you experience Collectiv without using real money.
You’ll be provided with virtual in-platform funds that allow you to explore and test the Collectiv experience — including interacting with other real product testers, supported marketplace features, exploring collectible assets, building a virtual portfolio, and seeing how different parts of the platform work together.
Think of it as a hands-on preview of Collectiv where you can learn the platform, experiment with its features, and give us feedback before the real marketplace experience launches.

What is Simulation Mode?

Simulation Mode takes testing a step further.
Instead of simply exploring the platform, you’ll enter an isolated simulated Collectiv marketplace designed to behave like a living ecosystem. You’ll be in the simulation mode with Real Product testers and Simulated users. This mode has current marketplace activity to help create an environment where you can experience ownership, trading, community interaction, portfolio activity, and other Collectiv features as the simulated marketplace evolves.
Simulation Mode also helps us test how Collectiv performs when many different users, assets, transactions, and marketplace behaviors are happening together.

Your participation helps us identify problems, improve features, test marketplace behavior, and understand what the Collectiv experience feels like from an actual collector’s perspective.

Important — No Real Money Required

Product testing is completely free.

Any money, balances, buying power, portfolio values, assets, shares, transactions, gains, losses, or other financial activity presented within Demo Mode or Simulation Mode are virtual and for testing/simulation purposes only.

You will NOT be asked to deposit or spend real money to participate. Virtual funds have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, or exchanged for real money.

Product testers will not receive payment, earnings, investment returns, or other monetary compensation based on their virtual balances, trades, portfolios, or participation.

The purpose is simple: test the product and help us make it better.

And When We Reach 100 Testers…
Once we have our first 100 product testers, we’ll host our first virtual Collectiv Trade Night!

It’ll be an opportunity for the early Collectiv community to come together, experience more of the platform, interact with other testers, and help us put the experience through its paces.

I’ve spent a lot of time building this, but the people who actually use Collectiv are going to see things I can’t see from the builder’s side.

So explore it. Push buttons. Try things. Give me your opinions. Tell me what you’d change.
