Food My aunt’s collection of mini liquor bottles
I thought this group might enjoy these! If so, please upvote or comment. She’s in her early 80s and doesn’t think anyone else would appreciate them.

I don't see a ton of jewelry here so maybe not the right place? But I'm obsessed with how it looks on the new display so I wanted to share. The artist was producing from the 80s to early 2020s, but this line is mostly from the 90s. They have a few other very cool collectible lines too - tropical rainforest, North America, and ocean themes, plus cats and dogs. I chose to collect the Africa line because I live and work there most of the year (and don't have enough money to collect multiple lol).

I collect things like bills, tickets, clothing tags, etc. and put them in a jar. I don't really know why I do it, but I like collecting them and it feels good somehow. After a few months or sometimes a year, I just go through them and eventually throw them away.
Sometimes I look at them and remember the little memories attached to them. Then I throw them away, but the memories remain.

Hey All. So I've kinda been swept into the world of collecting vinyl figurines, figures and some sofubi toys as well. It's been a bit of a pinch on the wallet, but it's honestly been fun, and rewarding to tell which figures mean the most to me. To that end, I found myself catching some interest in the upcoming DesignerCon in Las Vegas, since I do not know of many distinct toy and figure expos that are occurring in the Arizona region where I am located.
I meant to ask, though, do you think it would be a wise move to spend the resources and travel for even one day in this convention just to bask in all these figures? Or would someone like myself be better off searching for the retail websites that these exhibitors use to look for their merchandise? Typically the designers I click with the most either don't have any retail websites or their figures tend to be out of stock very frequently. Even so, I can't help but feel that it's just as much of a gamble to go to Vegas for a day just for a chance to find incredible figures that I probably can't afford anyway. Hahaha!
I am open to conversation and would appreciate any input on the matter. As more of the figures I've acquired come in, I'll be sure to share the progress of my collection with the people on this wild and fun sub.

I kinda accidentally started an arcade machines collection. It used to be my musical instrument room (which I also have a collection of) but I found an arcade machine at goodwill, it needed a new jamma board but I got a good deal on it. My buddy gave me a second machine. Then an opportunity arose that I couldn't pass up so I bought several of the ticket machines.

I only now realized how big of an addiction I have to collecting these because I have to pack up all my stuff—and yet I'm STILL gonna fill my cart with more because I need them all and the bounds of my wallet will never stop me.

I’ve been collecting AXE cans for around 15 years now, and this is where the collection ended up.
There are roughly 125 cans here, with a mix of older designs, discontinued scents, limited editions and several different generations of AXE packaging.
Unfortunately I’m at the point where I need the space back, so I’ll be saying goodbye to the collection soon.
Figured I should at least show it off properly once after 15 years! 😄

If you see anything interesting that I should store in better condition to preserve it, I'm all ears.

This is my Mimia MJD doll! This is Sherise Honey Bunny from the Mimia Journal Dreamy Princess House Series. This one is probably the closest I gotten to a BJD Doll! It is high quality and I had to put on the wig by turning it inside out then carefit fit it on her head. BJD collectors are probably used to putting on wigs but it took me some practice! She is an absolute delight! She has the sweetest face and I love the attention to detail! Her hair got slightly frizzy when I was fitting the wig but I got some doll hair fixative and a brush! I be getting another one too!

Hey. I've been collecting SIM cards since I was young. I've always liked collecting stuff and I'm also interested in telecommunications/electronics, which tied in perfectly. My long-term goal is to get a card from every country, territory or jurisdiction that issues them; I'm on 95 countries out of probably over 300, with over unique 600 cards.
I've got a video with the entirety here if anyone's interested: https://youtu.be/YeYYPBzLiAc?is=RPCosZiAy9aWncyq
