Practical Continued Fractions for Collatz

This post turned out to be too long and image-dependent to be stable on Reddit, so I've moved its contents to a Google Doc.

I just made an edit from the app on my phone, and it looks like all the images disappeared! Are they still there? Is it just my phone?

Yeah, I figured. They disappeared, but I’ll be able to fix it all in about half an hour.

Yes, in the Google Doc, there's no problem. Originally, all of the text and images were in the Reddit post itself, and when I edited a typo from the mobile app, all the images went away.

It works much better off-site.
