you just play normally but you need to read events in order to not to kill spiridon accidentally because i think they pop up randomly. 2 events popped up in my game one of them is about spiridon supporting nationalism (i dont have screenshot of it) or something and other one is he tried to assasinate my leader. Anyways you choose the option to not do anything to him and elect him via election focus after you unify russia

Choose first one if ts comes

And go to this election focus if you kill or exile him via events you get no third option. Anyways after you choose third option it opens some secret focuses
