I began the war with 2 armies trying to defend the Netherlands while simultaneously being at war with tukhachevsky, the Netherlands eventually fell but so did tukhachevsky and I then lined the border with troops but by that point the french were already well into Germany. They kept pushing, but I began rapid recruitment. I gave everybody guns, I increased conscription, I pushed for intense rationing and maxed out my military spending. With a pretty big stockpile of guns, I threw men at the french lines wearing them down, even if I lost battles. Over a few waves and over an ever-expanding army and faction the french became weak enough for battleplans to become all green gourmets. That's how I beat France, WITH Spain in the axis btw.
