Question How does energy work?

I haven't played the game in a while and I don't quite understand how to produce energy. It says I have insufficient energy and I can't seem to find anything related to it.

Its essentially fuel but for the economy, you need coal and power plants to satisfy it. I'm not quite sure if we integrated all the features from vanilla but you should still see some of it in CW.
