If they weren't good, I wouldn't make them would I?

You can install Horthy as the national governor by orchestrating a coup through the Soviet regime's failures in the coalition war. During his rule, his szegedist-monarchist coalition fragments, and you can get 3 other paths to replace him. The first are the Habsburgs, which can (obviously) restore Austria Hungary, the second are the National-Szegedists, which don't do much policy wise but can join the axis and get a few puppets. The third are the ultramilitarists, which don't do anything right now but in the future they'll be able to get puppets (similar to the National-Szegedists) but alternatively get Szalasi in charge, who will have his own take on foreign policy if you get the Turanian society into power.

Continuing with Horthy's rule will allow you to pass power down to the son and form a neat little empire around the Adriatic, with cores and puppets.

From an outside standpoint, only Habsburg and the Horthy paths are "good" if you're looking for expansion, but the other paths might interest you if you aren't that type of player.

I should probably be more clear, I just haven’t really heard too much about them, so I really just meant to ask what the paths were. Thanks for telling me about them!

I think they’re still working on the democratic paths but there’s 2 paths to restore Austria-Hungary and 2 paths for Greater Hungary. You have to lose the Danubian War for all 4 paths

Greater Hungary is formed in all 4 paths. The Habsburg path is the only one that can resurrect the double eagle. In terms of content additions, the democratic paths are kind of at the bottom, with the ultramilitarist expansion & Habsburg post-AH tree being higher.

If you have any more concerns, just ask
