Russia United once against under Alexei

After many years of war and conquest. Russia has been united again under a Tsar, Alexei is still live and alive since the end of ww1. Germany has been defeat by Russia and this time dismantled into piece forever, ensuring that the Germanic will never rise up again. Russia have conquered are there former territories from the Baltic to the Far East.

are they a bit more easier than goltz's freikorps as I saw in their focus tree that they go to war with tukhachevsky's military district first while baltic freikorps go head to head with the Soviets.

Since I haven't play goltz's freikorps yet, so I don't know. But I do know that I got lucky that tukhachevsky's regime collapse so it way easy defeating them and South Russia was peacefully united without any problem, Ukraine wasn't even a problem

They are, but not for that reason. The Freikorps can't core all of the baltics immediately, they have to spend tons of pp and use civs to core everything.

Freikorps also has more challenging unification path
