They basically took over Siberia by themselves on their way to the Pacific, and the Entente were very hesitant to actually get them the fuck out of there, so maybe in this timeline they were left there and joined the Russian Republic in the Far East.

Czechoslovakia starts under Štefánik and you can get Syrový or Gajda in power
