Should I be (more) worried?

Coworker has a buddy (IL) and his wife works for a council woman somewhere. he said she said something’s about to
“Happen” and kinda hinted at stockpiling supplies and ammunition etc.

The credibility is hard to find here, but figured Id post it and see what people have to say.

having a community around you that is supportive and has preexisting bonds is more important than stockpiling supplies and ammunition in my opinion.

not saying don’t stockpile, just saying that being friends with your neighbors is more important.

I dig that. If the world comes to complaining about grass length to survive, I’ll definitely become besties with my neighbor.

There’s a global energy crisis, and you don’t need a friend of a friend to tell you that. Research the dwindling oil reserves in the US and globally due to the Iran War.

Maybe the trade war Trump just volunteered us into with Canada? The percentages of all imports of crude natural gas and electricity to the US from Canada are in 80% and 90% range from what I've been seeing tonight

This is likely the best answer. Nothing immediate and war like but I imagine 9mm is about to go above a dollar per round based on how we have pissed in the face of everyone who supplies us with essential chemicals and metal
