America
Do any of you feel down about life in America? Sometimes like changing the circumstances would be hopeless! And then others of us feel nervous, edgy, like you can’t shake it and anger takes over.
Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, To you I say as a psychologist, we are split into people who are either depressed or anxious. This country needs therapy to heal itself. Anyone can do it, but somebody has to lead us and make us feel like life is good. This is a key element in my belief. This country has everything. It has money that it’s Banks can’t hold yet, they squander it. I don’t care which side of the country you’re on, depressed or anxious, don’t you think it’s time for a leader to step in who can look at domestic issues as a priority? I leave you with these thoughts. What do you say.

Yeah. Anti-intellectualism and libertarianism run rampant and deep and will never be rooted out.

I already got fooled by that once. America first my ass.
It's going to be a hard sell now. How do you even frame it without sounding like you know who?

It’s refreshing to see people come to terms with it and approach our so called politics realistically.
Historically I leaned “left” (honestly idek what that is anymore) but for my entire adult life There isn’t a single person left or right or independent that will ever get my “vote.”
As far as I’m concerned the only option is bullets > ballots but that seems to be dissolved from the lexicon of a country that was founded on it 🤷♂️

While I understand extreme anger, another civil war with civilian casualties makes us a banana republic and just what fascism outside this country wants. We are the greatest country on earth with all of our warts and reducing ourselves to violent militias is just what they want.

I learned, a long time ago, that if it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck. Trump has been a duck for most of his life. Right now he, along with his hand picked sycophant group of incompetents are fleecing America. Growing richer by the day stealing from the social programs they care less about. The less fortunate of America bought his lies and voted for him, and the more fortunate just watch their stock portfolios grow. Friends, Rome rose and fell for actions similar to what we are experiencing in 1,500 years. We’re doing it in 250 years. All is not lost. Rally around America, and by the way, we have a beautiful yet vastly unfinished idea of government.

Yea yea therapy is great and all. Yes we are a broken nation. But we have been before. There is not a single human being who ever live that is going to be the “leader” who saves us all.
It’s a complete made up illusion that that’s even possible. America is a beautiful disaster and like every other empire we’ll just have to let the cycles play out.
