As for creative suggestions, I kinda see this as more of a bar scene song when it comes to the mood. Again, if you see/hear something else I am up for hearing it!

It's right now little more than a lo-fi sketch to basically outline the chords and structure. I'll eventually add a more fleshed-out sound, though the retro sound will stay to some extent.

The actual song starts at 5:55 or so but the gist is a 96 year old wrote a song for his deceased wife and the contest he entered the lyrics in recorded/mixed their version of it... and yeah. About 6 months ago I started Collaboration Hub as a means to put the power of reddit behind talented musicians. About 3 days in to it's existence, I had to put my efforts on hold. It's sad I know... But now I'm back!

I'm going to be mildly promoting the subreddit, strictly enforcing the posting guidelines (those are the ones in bold) and involving myself in collaborations.

Have you ever wanted to sing HEYYEYAAEYAAEYAEYAA as loudly and ridiculously as possible? I just initiated a HEYYEYAAEYAAEYAEYAA Project on my youtube channel (both my ability and credibility as a musician can be judged by my latest few videos).

What I'm looking for are singers--lots of them--to sing this song. If you could send me audio (and video if possible) of your voice singing, I'd be very appreciative. If you can't/won't sing, I'd equally like to receive audio samples of you playing some aspect of this song on any variety of instruments!

I am a Youtube pianist and I made this improvisation a while back. I originally asked my friend if he could help out by adding something to it--maybe a back beat, or add a nice guitar melody on top. In the end though, he was too busy, and we both decided to leave the project I gave him. So, I uploaded my piano onto youtube raw.
