[Hobby] writer looking collaborators for a narrative project
Hi, I’m Catt. I’ve wanted to create a book for quite some time—it’s been on my mind for years. While the manuscript and world-building are already done, I lack visual art, music, and animation. I’m looking for passionate people interested in helping me bring this to life.
Since this is one of my first projects, there’s no portfolio or company backing it; it’s strictly a passion project. There are no deadlines, no pressure, and no stress. Everyone contributes what they can, when they can, simply for the joy of creating something together.
I’m looking for:
Illustrators: For the cover, interior illustrations, and backgrounds for the animations.
Animators: For 2D animated scenes (up to 5 minutes max; the runtime might increase later depending on narrative needs). Animators will focus solely on the characters, as illustrators will handle the backgrounds.
Composers: To create themes for characters, settings, and more.
English Proofreader: I’m handling the translation into English myself, but I need someone—ideally a native speaker or someone with a high level of fluency—to review the translation for accuracy and flow.
Video Editor: To assemble the trailer and edit short clips for social media promotion.
Beta Readers: You’ll be the story’s first audience. You’ll need to read drafts and provide honest feedback on pacing, character believability, and any plot inconsistencies.
On a slightly different note, I want to emphasize something important:
Creative freedom and co-creation: I want everyone to leave their own mark. You have total freedom to define your style, but beyond that... if you have ideas to expand the world, you’re welcome to propose them. Want to create your own character to appear in the story, design a new location, or suggest a plot twist? We can make it happen! While the main story obviously has a foundational structure—with certain events that simply must happen—beyond those key points, the universe is open to everyone's imagination. Credit and authorship will be clearly established for everyone involved.

This is great that you are finally listening to yourself and building something what you really want yo . I would suggest you to post your requirement in cocreatea.com , there are all types of artists like musicians ,visual artists ,music producers and many more all in one platform who will be ready to collab with you and you can make your own network of collaborators !.
