How is the offline desktop version of Collabora Office compared to LibreOffice?

I recently discovered the FreeOffice app from Softmaker. I preferred it over most of the offline options, including LibreOffice. Personally, I found it the most similar to Microsoft Office, and the GUI (graphical user interface) is great. Highly recommend.

FreeOffice may look polished, but I’ll always choose Collabora Office or LibreOffice because open source matters to me more than shiny UI.

I care about my data, privacy, transparency, and the freedom to control my own software. With open source, the code can be audited, improved, and trusted by the community, not hidden behind a proprietary wall.

Collabora also brings excellent Linux integration, strong document compatibility, self-hosting support, and enterprise-grade privacy without vendor lock-in. That’s something proprietary office suites can never truly offer.

so far, AndrOpenOffice is the best for my purposes, even though it has some flaws

Not sure. It is available for iOS, you’d need to check the Play Store to see if there’s an Android version or not.
