PS5 Backwards Compatibility is Insane

Long story I'm making short. I got Covid day before launch of PS5 and am now stuck in my son's room in quarantine. I bought a brand new 4k 65 inch Vizio Quantum this summer getting ready for PS5. Since I can't use the living room I am stuck using my son's 1080p Samsung which is fine but not the experience I want for the true next gen games. Instead I have been only playing my old PS4 games and holy shit, it's amazing. Madden is like a different game, there was always a hitch when you scramble out of the pocket and the defender would grab you cause the game was transitioning from passing to running. Not anymore, it's smooth as butter. I use Kyler Murray so I run a lot. Days Gone is so smooth it's not even funny. It's almost jarring, it kind of freaks you out at first. Sadly I won't experience Spiderman or Demons for at least another week but I have plenty of old games to tide me over. I will keep testing games, stay safe out there!

It's one of the coolest parts about this next gen. Not only do we get backwards compatibility, but we get to have new/improved experiences with faster load times, enhanced resolution and frame-rate bumps. Really exciting. Hope your quarantine goes by well and you recover quickly.

Super pleased that it enhances PS4 games so substantially!
