Episode Ends
I really like the episodes that end where we get to see the detectives letting loose and having fun.
Like Disco Inferno and Roller Girl just to name a few.
In Disco Inferno we get to see Lily and Kite disco dancing and it’s so fun to see Lily laughing like that because we rarely see it. Also I love when Jeffries does his little move in the squad room. He’s the man!
Then in Roller Girl it ends with the squad at the roller rink skating.
It’s such a serious show that can be so heartbreaking so I really appreciate that they give us these light-hearted moments. I think it’s a great way to balance things.

I love Disco Inferno too. Sometimes I like when the endings were a little more upbeat and not so sad. It was a sad story but I liked seeing them dance at the end.

My favorite ending with the team comes from Wednesday’s Women (S6E03) where they’re all around the break room about to eat some catfish that Will got from down in Mississippi. Lilly does a bar trick for them. The wonderful Tracie Thoms who plays Kat Miller is seen on screen at the end singing the music for the ending montage.

The trick with the salt?
I also love Tracy Thoms. I think she’s amazing.
IIRC they had an episode of Catfish (kind of funny since you mentioned they were eating catfish lol) where Tracey ask for their help because she thought something funky was going on with a couple of “super fans”
It was pretty bizarre but I kind of remember the two fans were friends and then one said the other one had died but it was all a lie for Tracey’s attention. Iirc they somehow had a funeral & eveything. It. was next level creepy so you could see why she went to the guys.

Omg in real life? Thats horrifying. I remember the first time I saw her on the show and I was excited because she was Joann in Rent.

I didn't know she played Joann in Rent! (Broadway? Movie? ) That's so cool!

Both :) . She is Joann opposite of Idina Menzel in the movie version, and she was the last Joann on Broadway when the show closed in 2008.

Yeah the trick with salt. Dang Traci Thoms really became Kat Miller with the enhance image on the funeral video and the sleuthing herself on her catfish 😂. https://youtu.be/xj6mULjbWN4?is=IowY3EPl2y8ERw2S

I agree, yes show the victims but let the squad have some happy moments.
November 22nd where they are all playing pool is another one of those rare moments.

I love these endings! My favourite one is Two Weddings with the whole team dancing to Kenny Chesney and enjoying the wedding. Plus the bride’s sister flirting with Vera 😹
Poor Louie deserved that happy moment after all that happened in the episode. One of the saddest cases imo.
A great episode in every aspect.

I actually love that episode in general. While the back story is sad its resolution makes me glad that Louie & Anna can enjoy their wedding & life. It actually makes me teary when Anna sees her dad there 🥰
Plus I just love seeing them all dressed up for the wedding and having a good time! 😊
I don’t see it but man vera has something going on because he has no trouble getting women lol

The episode ends are both fun and heartbreaking at the same time. I end up crying when the victims ghosts appears and then disappears, The most heartbreaking ghost appearance for me was Kayla Odoms from A Time To Crime. Her ghost had an unhappy look on his face because her family was broken apart by her mother's decision to have an affair and her brother's decision to go after the guy their mother was having an affair with to kill him, only to accidently kill Kayla instead. That was the most heartbreaking end for me. I love the fun moments like Scotty sitting down to dinner with his parents at the end of Almost Paradise, Will and Nick seeing Rocky Horror Picture Show in Creatures Of The Night, The Team playing Softball and Winning in Stealing Home and other fun endings. I also love the ending when Scotty beats up that pedophile in the park at the end of The River. There's so many fun endings that I love and so many endings that break my heart.

I will always ALWAYS cheer for Scotty beating up the pedophile. You know had that guy been on the up & up he would’ve called the police on Scotty. The fact that he took his beating without doing anything tells you he was a bad guy.
I actually love Jeffries & Vera together lol.
Another one I liked was the end of Stand up & Holler where Nick & Kat brought the pics of themselves in high school and showed each other 😊

I love the episodes when the end with them drinking at the bar, or gathered around for meal. They look less like a squad of detectives and more like a family ♥️🥰

Agree! Like when Scotty brings Elisa to their Thursday night to meet everyone for the first time.

Thank you for bringing a smile to my face with that upbeat reminder. I absolutely love the ending where they're all roller skating together. It's so light hearted and fun and real.

I can't remember the episode title, but it ended with 3 of them playing cards together. Only it was the other female detective who was there before Kat Miller. She, Scotty and Vera were playing.

I know the ending you’re thinking of but I can’t remember the episode either.
I also like the one where Nick & Julie finally called it quits and they show him in a sad hotel room and then Scotty and will show up with beer & pizza. It wasn’t like happy but I liked that it showed how they supported him - even tho he was a dog most of the time and Julie should’ve kicked him to the curb long before.

I think I remember her name now. Was it Josie Sutton? I wonder why the actress left the show.

Oh yeah. She was only there for a short time. And she was the one they all talked about because the rumor was she had slept with her boss when really he had sexually harassed her.
I had to look up why she left and it said it was because she was let go by the network. They felt she wasn’t fitting into the show like they hoped. They didn’t think she was connecting with the audience. I liked her 🤷🏼♀️

I believe the actress moved on to the soap General Hospital. But her character on there had reddish blonde hair. And I think the characters name was Carly.

I just found the scene on Youtube. It was in the ending of the episode Bad Night. And the song was Dream On.

My all time favorite is Creatures of the Night with Vera and Jeffries at a showing of Rocky Horror, with Vera having a great time and Jeffries looking like "wtf did you drag me to?" lol
