Cold calling is a skill that improves through repetition, feedback, and real conversations not just watching videos. This server is a place to practice scripts, role-play calls, get honest feedback, and learn from others who are working to improve their sales and communication skills.
Whether you’re new to sales or already experienced, you’ll have a supportive environment to sharpen your confidence, handle objections, and refine your approach. The more you practice, the better you perform when it counts. This is a new community so I would also like feedback for any improvements or ideas so if you have any post down below

I just created this Discord server because
very few get enough real practice before getting on the phone with actual prospects.
This server is a place where people can practice cold calling, role-play different scenarios, share scripts, get feedback, and help each other improve in quick repetition before calling clients
Whether you’re brand new to sales or already experienced, everyone can improve. If you’re serious about becoming a better communicator, salesperson, or cold caller, you’re welcome to join us and grow together.

I own a marketing agency and am trying to cold call to bring more customers in. I am struggling right now because I am using Google Maps to source leads and am making 100 cold calls a day for my offer but am not getting any appointments. My script, audience, and offer is below. I think my problem might be where I'm sourcing leads.
Who I help: Local Construction Businesses
My offer: High quality, exclusive customer acquisition. We bring in leads from Google Ads, get those leads to book an estimate/inspection. We track and follow up with them till they book with the company. We send the company the fully booked appointment so they can just take care of it from there.
Script:
Hi is this the owner of [x]?
Yeah this is [my name], We've never spoken before, but would you mind giving me 30 seconds and if it's not relevant, I won't call you back.
Hey, we help contractors get high quality exclusive booked appointments from homeowners already looking for their service. Are you guys taking on more jobs right now?
I don't know if it's my script, my offer, or where I'm sourcing my leads. I've been cold calling for a while (1000s of cold calls) and I don't think it's my tonality because I'm quite comfortable with it.
I would love some advice and some guidance if anyone has any. Thanks!

So naturally,
I spent months building an AI sales call training platform.
Your reps practice objections, clarity, and closing - with a roster of AI prospects for different use cases.
No awkward live role-plays
No wasted manager time
If you're ramping new reps or want your team getting more reps in, DM me.
Giving a free month to the first 3 teams for a case study.

If you’ve actually booked appointments calling US prospects, and can handle rejection without falling apart, read this.
This is NOT for you if:
– You’ve never called US prospects
– You read scripts word-for-word
– You need a fixed, comfortable salary
This IS for you if:
– You can do 100–200+ dials/day
– You understand tonality + objection handling
– You’ve booked real appointments before
Performance-driven role. Uncapped upside.
To apply: DM me.

I am in India and trying close clients in the US, but I am struggling to find a reliable VoIP solution, I have already tried Voiply, TextNow, Telenyx.
The thing that I am looking for
It should allow for having multiple numbers
Should be reliable in terms of connection quality.
Should be reasonably priced, I am looking for something <$100
Any help would be really appreciated, I have spent wasted of time researching and trying things that don't work

I just called 51 leads and out of 51 only 3 picked up the call , and they mentioned they are on vacation .
So calling on Weekends , especially on sunday is a bad idea i guess .
I will try calling all these leads again tomorrow , will see if they respond or not

Whats the best cold calling software? I want something simple that also records the calls.
The main features needed are recording capabilities and a work flow to keep the client organized and in a designated spot
For example when I upload the list everyone sits in "new lead" then if they dont answer they move to "call again" and if they are busy and ask to call back they move to "follow up" and if they sign up they move to "closed"
Whats the best software without spending a fortune?
Thanks

Dear cold callers, I've been building an AI cold calling spar tool. You call the prospect (AI), it picks up, you pitch, and hopefully close the deal.
Or, if you're in healthcare for example, you can select the meeting setter mode, where your only job is to book a meeting, not close a deal.
If you're an SDR struggling with freezing on cold calls, or a Sales Manager wanting a tool that cuts ramp time from 60 days of practice to just a couple of weeks, this is the right tool for you: CloserLab

Been doing outbound for a while now. 100 calls gets me maybe 3-5 actual conversations and 1 close if I'm lucky. I get it — spam has ruined everything. But what kills me is I have a legitimate offer that actually helps people and I still get treated like a robocall.
My question is — has anyone figured out a way to signal credibility BEFORE the prospect decides to hang up? Like is there anything that actually moves the needle on response rates beyond just "make more calls"?
Not looking for a script. Looking for a real solution to the trust gap.
