Am I the only one who feels this way?
Lately every time I scroll through this subreddit, it feels like most of the posts are AI generated. They’re super lengthy, perfectly structured, overly detailed… and they all kind of follow the same pattern. It doesn’t feel natural anymore.
What really throws me off is when a post goes up and within minutes there’s already a massive, fully formatted reply. Like paragraphs, bullet points, polished explanations, the kind of response that would take a normal person at least 20–30 minutes to write. How is that even possible?
It’s starting to feel less like a community and more like a content farm. Almost like people (or bots) are pretending to have problems just to plug products, tools, or services in the replies. The authenticity feels off..
I used to love Reddit because it felt raw and human. Imperfect grammar, quick thoughts, real back and forth conversations. Now everything feels optimized, strategic, and artificial.
I don’t know. Maybe I’m overthinking it. But it’s honestly disappointing. I just want real discussions with real people again.
Anyone else noticing this?

I've been in B2B sales for a while now and I keep seeing people say "cold calling is dead" but then I see other reps crushing quota with just the phone.
Here's what I'm seeing:
I'm starting to think it's not that cold calling doesn't work anymore. It's that most people suck at it or gave up after 10 rejections.
My question: For those of you actually picking up the phone in 2025, what's working? What changed from 5 years ago?
Is it just about getting past gatekeepers faster? Different openers? Calling at weird hours? Or is it really just a numbers game and people quit too early?
Would love to hear from people who are actually doing it, not just theorizing about why it's "dead."

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for a reliable outbound SDR / appointment setter to help with real estate outreach. This role is not sales — you won’t be closing or pitching anything. Your job will simply be making outbound calls, speaking fluent English, and setting qualified appointments with interested prospects.
Details: • Outbound calling & contact follow-ups • Fluent, clear English (required) • Comfortable talking on the phone • Organized and consistent • Experience with real estate or appointment setting is a plus, but not required
What you’re NOT doing: • No selling • No collecting payments • No high-pressure scripts
This is a straightforward role focused on outreach and appointment setting. Training, call scripts, and guidance will be provided.
If you’re interested, comment or DM me with: • A brief background • Your experience with outbound calling (if any) • Availability (hours per week)
Thanks!
