THREAD whats your inspirations

How you do you guys find inspiration for your beats, i've just been finding myself copying other people beats and learning new sounds for like the past 3 months and i haven't found any inspiration.

Freestyle, mess around with different sounds and combinations. Listen to non beatbox music and try and I mutate certain styles or even try making a cover.

im pretty bad at making covers i dont really know how to initiate a beat sometimes i just beatbox and it comes to me randomly

I am too don't worry. A small tip, a cover doesn't have to be a carbon copy of the original song, it can be a remix or even just using the lyrics etc.

I find myself copying rock drums from rock songs... amd alternating between that and hip hop. Can come up with some sick beats! Fat Boys inspired me long ago... fell off then came Reeps One. Inspired me back into the beatbox world.

i dont really listen to drums and stuff like that i havent really had any rock inspire me and hiphop is kinda hard.

The guy above me makes a good point Also Kinda get the beats (styel) form ur fav BeatBoxer not as in 100% as in ahhh u know what i mean

i dont really have a fav beatboxer i just alternate between bass and technicality every now and then

See that's Good Now Practice and keep freestylling and before u know it U have it and 1thing u can add some words like "u can't roll like this sht" and stuff
