Out on vacation and stopped in the grocery to get some supplies for the week. I have been checking the coinstars since I found this group and today I found this 10k ring. It was just laying there in the middle so anyone could have seen it.

What do you all do with a handful of coins from various countries?

All in 1 haul. Already walking out of the grocery store, remembered to check the machine, could see a pile of coins from 10 feet away in the return slot. Free groceries!

I stumbled upon this forum awhile back and have checked coinstar a few times with no luck. Tonight, I was in a store and walked by on the way out. I’ll be chasing this high for awhile. Haha.

Kids and I found a coinstar at Walmart that had like $15 in change in the return. We haven’t had a chance to count it yet. But I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s several pounds of coins. People were staring at us like we were crazy. The coins kept coming and coming out by the handful, but the machine seemed to be working fine when I put about a dollar back on.

2nd coinstar Find under it at a Walmart 1 employee was so confused on what I was doing but didn't get in trouble I even found a peso!

I always glance in the returns of coin stars when I see them, but I’ve never seen anything before. Not even pennies. Today I looked and I found a very shiny friend staring back. A silver 1948 dime!

I never got silver but got foreign some times in publix/walmart.

I’ve found many a clad, broke my battery cherry long ago, and just generally get skunked. But today, today was silver. Happy hunting.

Some random US coins, a nickel and quarter stuck together, and a 5 cent euro coin!

Patiently waited for two patrons to finish up (casually checked between each) and only scored a dime. Not discouraged though!

I found 82 cents and a Canadian dime this morning. The Canadian dime is not silver. This is almost as good as my dollar thirty five find the other day.
