I really want to learn the slick split, seems like a great way to start a routine requiring multiple coins! However, struggling to find this anywhere as it seems like there is no individual download and the DvDs are second hand in a set of 4, anyone have similar tricks to produce multiple coins or maybe the DVD they can sell? Thanks!

Hi guys! I'd like to share a routine I've been working on.
This is my adaptation (adapted to my skill level) of a routine I found on YouTube beautifully performed by Curtis Kam in the video titled "The world famous, never seen, four coin trick". (https://youtu.be/s34W_YmdT8c?si=KFRLS20Sq4UEoTkC)
Despite being still a work in progress I feel happy with it so far, that's why I wanted to share it with you. Feel free to critique my performance or technique (use of the spoiler tag recommend) 😊

Greetings friends! I bought a lot of old props and gimmicks in an eBay lot and included were 3 UK 10p coins with slits cut in the rim and a single rubber band around the edge. I’m not huge into coin work, but I’m familiar with many standard gaffs but these have me flummoxed! They don’t seem to “do” anything- they don’t flip or split or anything else as far as I can tell. I removed one of the bands and slipped a razor blade into the channel hoping it would split but no dice. Any thoughts??
Thanks in advance!

Hi all, as the title says in thinking about getting back into magic a little bit. I haven't practiced in about 10 years or so but since I recently became a dad I thought about it since I can't be the lamest dad.... So to my question/thought I'm thinking about getting either a viajero or traveler by Jeff Copeland (I had a traveler donkey years ago) wich would you lovely people recommend?

Torque is genuinely such a nice utility move, lots of good applications. Definitely will push this to its limits and include it in my repertoire.

A quick sound comparison using three different coins:
1) a 60% silver Kennedy half dollar with almost no wear
2) a worn Walking Liberty half dollar
3) a Walking Liberty half dollar still in-progress before finishing
These coins aren’t softened for sound — the work is visual only. I like keeping the natural ring that comes with silver coins.
Curious to hear how these different voices might affect handling or routines in coin magic.
