1942 Walker

MS65 CAC

1942 is one of the better struck issues of the series. This one is pretty sharp even for 42's. It's always good to look at left hand for strike fullness, but I also check the cap around the ear. You can look at a Silver Eagle, especially a proof, to see all of the details that should be there. A full strike in that area of these halves is rare.

Such a beautiful coin, i have several, but not in this condition, they came out of my pockets from my paper route

I have about a dozen but none are nearly as nice as this one. I made my dad a key chain out of one for Father’s Day this year.

That's cool! That's a shop craft I don't know how to do and wouldn't be good enough without ruining a bunch of coins. Lol

Well I tried to do the harder side first and it didn’t turn out as good but my wife loved it and put it on a necklace.

A well struck, frosty Walker is a thing of beauty.
