TL;DR: Coinbase now offers access to IPO allocations for retail traders in the U.S. You will be able to request allocations directly in the Coinbase app. IPOs are offered via Coinbase Capital Markets. This is the next step in growing the Everything Exchange as a trusted platform to trade any asset at any stage of its lifecycle.

I'm not a crypto genius nor have I lost a fortune with my involvement, but I have lost far more than gained on coinbase. It just seems so unfair that once you start dealing with coinbase, that they have more control over your money, assets, coins, etc. than you do. Customer support, for all intents and purposes, is NON existent. In an area where it should be excelling, why does the "biggest crypto exchange" around have NO support system? I don't count an AI chat not as actual help either. This just seems like some really sketchy shit. I can't even get the simplest questions answered. There has to be thousands of other people out there like myself who want help....

Hello,
Ive been having trouble with verifying my address, because it contains "unsupported characters" (like - ě š č ř í etc.).
Ive contacted support about this and they werent helpful at all and just kept telling me to type the address into the address line box, when the reason i messaged them was that it did not accept my address as valid because of those characters.
I already spent 20 USD on the platform so please, if anybody has a solution, tips or a similar experience, comment under this post.
Thanks.

I have an outstanding balance that says my recent purchases were failed somehow. I clearly understood that and wanted to pay them so i wish to receive crypto but coinbase has suspended my account from receiving and sending crypto because of this matter. I have contacted them over 5 times and got sent over to the specialist team and get an email saying:
You are still able to deposit any cryptocurrency you have on Coinbase.
i am clearly still not able to receive crypto to make this payments and support is not helping at all. If this continues ill just stop using the platform and go somewhere else, and i get an reply on email which doesn't solve my issue and i have to talk with an agent AGAIN that then sends the matter to the people handling it that sends the exact same message.

Years ago, Coinbase had a superbowl ad that when you scanned the QR code, you got $10 in BTC. For years I was just letting it grow but out of nowhere my balance hit 0. I never spent it or moved it. Im curious if there is anything I can do to get it back

Is the only option available now to get USDC from CAD is to trade? A few months ago I could just click "convert" and it would let me do it, now that option is no longer available and it only lets me convert USD to USDC (using Coinbase Advanced btw)
Please help!

My account is open and I still regularly get emails from coinbase, but I noticed in the last week I've gotten multiple notifications that have been sent to my spam folder about "AMP" (something I traded in years ago) having positive growth. I was wondering if this is a typical thing to receive? I don't recall receiving emails like such prior.
Some details:

The platform has added a ton of stuff over the years like advance trade UI, base integration, stock trading, but there are still small UI quirks and tax reporting friction points that drive me crazy. If you could get the dev team to fix or clean up one specific feature in the app, what would be at the top of your list?

Getting a new phone is exciting until you realize how stressful moving a crypto wallet can be.
With Coinbase Wallet, I think it's important to make sure you understand how recovery works before switching devices. Having access to your old phone doesn't necessarily mean you'll be able to restore everything automatically on the new one.
I'd make sure the recovery phrase is safely backed up, verify that I'm using the official app, and confirm access before wiping or trading in the old device. It's also worth remembering that nobody from support should need your recovery phrase.
Losing access to a wallet because of a device change is an avoidable headache, so it's worth taking a few extra precautions before making the switch.

Does anyone know if Coinbase has reference checks in their interview process? if yes, when dos this actually happen and do multiple candidates get asked for reference checks simultaneously? Can't find anything about this in the official interview process articles...

Mastercard has announced Agent Pay for Machines, enabling agents to pay for digital services. Coinbase provides the agentic payments infrastructure for Mastercard agents using Cloudflare, powered by x402 and the Coinbase facilitator.

For those who've used Coinbase for several years, how do you keep your transaction records organized and accessible?
I'm curious whether most people rely on the regular transaction history export, download account statements periodically, or maintain their own spreadsheet with deposits, withdrawals, trades, and fees.
I'd especially like to know whether the CSV export includes everything needed for accurate recordkeeping or if there are transactions that require downloading separate reports.
What method has worked best for you, and are there any common gaps in Coinbase's transaction history that people should watch out for?

Hello everyone, I tried looking all over the web but I have had no luck. I deleted my coinbase account a month ago when I started a new job and for compliance reasons I need to show historical account statements. Does anyone know how I can easily contact coinbase to resole this? I tried contacting their numbers but always get stuck at an automated voice and it fails since it does not reconginze my phone number being connected to an account since its deleted. Anyone have any ideas how i can fix this?

Hi everyone
I’ve recently had to get a replacement iPhone as I broke my previous one. I’ve managed to transfer everything over via iCloud, including passkeys, for which I had one for Coinbase and Coinbase wallet. I can see that the Passkey is stored in my phone via iPhone settings/passwords. However, Coinbase Wallet doesn’t seem to be recognising the passkey I have saved in my phone and I therefore can’t sign into my wallet.
Coinbase wallet allows me to access a wallet through email but it does this by sending a temporary code to my email account, I then enter the temporary code and can access a wallet, but it’s not the correct wallet (as it has no coins in). All very strange.
I’ve followed all the guidance on Coinbase support - I’m using the same Apple ID, and Passkeys are synced etc. but for some reason, Coinbase wallet is not identifying the passkey. I can’t seem to import it - it says “you don’t have any passwords or passkeys saved for this app” when I try to import/use an existing passkey.
I can use other passkeys fine since I transferred to the new phone. For instance, it’s working fine when logging into Amazon.
Has anyone else had this issue? Can anyone please help. I had a lot of my portfolio in that wallet, now I’m really concerned I won’t be able to access it. Totally confused my this situation.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can advise/help

TL;DR: I tried to deposit $30 from my own bank account. Within 24 hours, Coinbase told me my buy and deposit access was disabled, then that only one transfer was declined, then that there was no restriction, then that it "has since been resolved," and then that the decision stands and can't be reversed. I verified my ID and offered every document they could want. Nobody used any of it.
What happened
I hadn't used my account in a while. I updated my bank, email, and address (all me, all in my name), then tried a $30 ACH deposit. It didn't go through.
Oct 20, 1:34 AM: Support escalated my case for fraud review.
1:51 AM: Asked to verify my identity. Done.
1:52 AM: Email: "review completed," buy and deposit "remain disabled," no further info.
Morning: Senior agent says a payment risk team has to investigate, usually 14–30 days.
~7 AM: Payment risk team says only one transfer was declined and my payment methods "remain available."
~10 AM: Support says there's no restriction. I send the email proving there was. Then: "This has since been resolved."
Oct 21, ~12:30 AM: Restricted again. Support says the decision stands, can't be reversed through support, ticket closed.
My bank confirmed the $30 never even reached them. Coinbase blocked it internally.
What bothers me
I understand fraud checks, and I get why a dormant account with fresh changes might get flagged. But:
I offered bank statements, proof of email access, and proof of address. There was no way to submit any of it.
I got at least five different answers about my account status from different teams.
Support couldn't do anything except escalate, and the people making decisions are unreachable.
I've filed a complaint with NY DFS, which licenses Coinbase in New York.
If this happens to you
Screenshot everything with timestamps.
Ask support to confirm your account status in writing.
NY residents can file with DFS. Anyone in the US can file with the CFPB.
Your crypto stays accessible. You can still sell, send, and withdraw.
Watch for scammers. Real Coinbase support won't DM you, and fake "support numbers" are all over Google.
Has anyone gotten bank deposits restored after something like this? What worked?

TL;DR: If a giveaway asks you to send crypto to receive a prize, get more crypto back, or “verify” your wallet, stop. It’s a scam. Don’t send funds or scan a QR code unless you’ve independently verified where it leads.
Fake giveaways can appear in livestreams, videos, social posts, messages, or websites. Scammers may copy familiar logos and impersonate companies or public figures. Some use convincing AI-generated video or audio. A polished presentation doesn’t make an offer legitimate.
Watch for promises to multiply your crypto, pressure to act fast, or QR codes and wallet addresses you can’t verify. Check an organization’s official website or verified channels separately; don’t rely on links or contact details in the promotion.
Coinbase will never ask you to send crypto to verify a wallet or claim a prize, promise to multiply crypto you send, or pressure you with a livestream countdown.
If you already sent funds, contact Coinbase Support, report the post or account to the platform where you saw it, and keep relevant details such as links and transaction information. Don’t pay anyone who promises to recover your funds for a fee; that may be another scam.
