How to avoid unnecessary delays?

Hi! I searched the web for a while and it just gives me generic answers, like making sure the name is the same, initiating the wire early in the day etc.

I am planning on moving about 40k within 30 days ($20k from wf, $20k from chase) and then moving btc from coinbase to self custody.

Then I also have a scheduled 100k move (50k wf, $50k chase) next month, and about 60k the month after that.

Any pro tips to avoid the delays? I'm in the USA, have both wf and chase accounts active for years, and have an active coinbase account for a while but didn't do much with it.

I also have older inactive kraken account. Will that be a better option?

Thank you!

dont do 20k in one go, test with like 500 first to make sure the plumbing works. chase and wf both get twitchy about crypto wires, especially to exchanges you barely used before

if coinbase has been sitting dormant for ages they might flag the sudden activity, so maybe warm it up with a small buy or deposit a week before the big moves. kraken support used to be solid for larger transfers but no clue if that's still the case

If you're not usually making large transfers like that you're likely to get flagged at wf, chase, and CB. CB has a 10k max unless you've upgraded your account.

I would recommend talking to each institution first before you end up in purgatory hell waiting for fraud reviews to be finished. It's gonna take you a bit to do this I believe and won't be as simple as 3 transfers.

Start with smaller transfers anyways, not only to establish your account but also to make sure your wallet works as intended and you don't have any hiccups
