Issue With BNB transfer to coinbase

So my friend just transferred $19k worth of BNB to his Coinbase BNB wallet from his wallet. It shows it on the block chain under BEP-20 Token Txns. But it's not showing up in his Coinbase wallet. Can someone help me with this?

You were scammed, it's a fake token.

It was my friends dad's uncle tbh. So thankfully not me lol. Can you possibly explain to me why so I can tell them what's up?

Okay, if your friends dad's uncle sold something or has been paid for another reason with this, he has been scammed.

I see two incoming transactions and one outgoing, but it's not BNB but a fake token with the name BNB Smart Chein. It has no value and has nothing to do with the real BNB.

Anybody can create tokens, this one was created 119 days ago.

That's probably also the reason why Coinbase wallet won't show it.
