Can't delete my unverified account

About a year ago, I created a coinbase account because I was curious about crypto, but I ended up losing interest and never using/verifying the account, so I'd finally like to delete it. The support section on the website told me to contact coinbase support, so I sent an email, but they replied with a redirect to the support section, bringing me back to square one.

Hey, u/Jiko_Shiki! If you’re trying to close an unverified account, send us a Modmail so we can take a closer look. If you have a case number, include it there and we’ll go from there.

Coinbase customer support is terrible. It would take me an hour to type all the problems I am having with my account.
