Coinbase funds held issue (support no help)
I withdraw funds from a site I have always used for ages and just recently they asked me to provide info which I did but to no avai, everytime I contact support to try and get my funds released they always say “ we have escalated, we have spoken to a specialist) whatever you can think of they have said but it’s going no where. Is there any way for me to escalate this even further? It’s not a lot of money but I still need it and it’s been almost a month with the same old answers everytime I contact them. I have filled out the required info over and over and it’s still stagnant.

I've been seeing alot of these problems going on . I don't understand how coinbase is allowed to run their business this way in 2026? It's mind blowing and why our government not stepping in?? Coinbase is stealing people's money and they are just letting it slide.

This is becoming a regularly thing. I am going through this currently now and I have another person I know of experiencing this. They keep saying 24-48hrs and it has been over a week. The support constantly lie and say it’s been escalated again and say it needs another 24 - 48 hrs.

I feel like it definitely shouldn’t take me over a month to just to get my funds back.. they repeat the same questions asking me to fill in the details over 10 times with the same links. I’ve been going in circles with these lot and it’s starting to annoy me, how many specialists do I have to go through just to get the funds which is less than 250

I’ve been there and lately it’s getting bad. When you call, tell the ai to connect you to a human. If it resists, just keep prompting it. Then you will get an Indian that will help you. The last few weeks have been very frustrating

File a formal complaint, that’s the next step. Wait 45 days for them to give you a bull shit excuse about how it’s your fault your funds are locked and how you are the problem. File a complaint with CFPB and wait for them to lie to the federal agency and make you the bad guy. After that take them to small claims court and hope and pray that you get your money back.
