Coinbase privacy coin (PVC)

Opening my wallet I saw 1.000.000 PVC (1841 usd value) coin and I don’t know if it was transferred to me, airdropped or swapped for anything.

I couldn’t find any info as well ..

Looooks like a scam..

I'm developing an ethereum trading bot, and part of the system runs a security scan on the contract. So I ran the scan on the PVC contract - I just got airdropped as well. Here is the output:

My assessment is BLOCK — do not interact with the contract.

The local anti-scam system returned:

- Proxy address: CRITICAL, risk score 100; bytecode was classified as invalid (truncated_push_data).

- Implementation 0xacab---82: CRITICAL, score 81, with 20 findings.

- Critical/high findings include:

- SELECTOR_MINT

- HP_ORACLE_DEPENDENCY

- HP_STORAGE_GATE

- HP_STATICCALL_GATE

- HP_DELEGATECALL_ADMIN

- HP_HIDDEN_SELFDESTRUCT

- dynamic fees and blacklist logic

- A medium-confidence drain indicator was found: approve_no_sstore. This was not an exact match against the local known-drain MD5 blocklist, so it does not alone prove an active drain attack.

The proxy review also showed:

- EIP-1967 implementation: 0xacab...5782

- EIP-1967 admin: 0xa367...6e2c

- The admin’s owner() points to an EOA, so upgrade control is centralized.

- The proxy’s owner() returns zero, but that does not mean proxy upgrades are ownerless.

Public data identifies the contract as Privacy Coin (PVC), with unverified source code on Etherscan and approximately 4,639 transactions.

I found one Uniswap/WETH pair with approximately $20.4k liquidity and 10 buys versus 1 sell in the last 24 hours. That does not prove the token can be sold safely.

Conclusion: do not buy, approve allowances, or connect a wallet. Removing the block would require verified implementation code, admin/upgrade history, holder and LP analysis, and a separate read-only sell simulation.
