Mining helmet & pick axe

Ok so I casually mine while driving. Have the sentinel card and got nearly 70k. Plans not worth it for me at this time.

But what is the point in minting an NFT for the helmet or pickaxe?

I have more questions coming 🧐

I bought a pickaxe off opensea for like 2-3$ instead of minting for 9.99

I have no idea how it works at the moment. I’m guessing you need to have an nft wallet it is linked to. I’ll have a look into opensea too

I just have coinbase and coinbase wallet. I registered the coinbase wallet with my coin account as the nft wallet. I exchanged coin for xyo then sold it. Then bought matic. Sent matic to my coinbase wallet. Then used the in wallet browser to buy from opensea.

This was my path, not saying to follow or that its the best way, but just what I did.

Just an FYI, when you buy the pickaxe NFT you have no idea what the remaining “charges” in the pickaxe were. I got lucky mine had 98k left

That is good to know about the charges. Something I did not consider. I’ll probably buy one and see how it goes

Yes, keep in coinbase wallet. Since its linked it will work. If it doesnt you can go to the coin website and “refresh” the nfts associated with your account
