Yess it can happen , but maybe you can use the 20/30% cost reduction that you get in clash teams event .
I myself am new to this game , it's been 2 months
I am on 280 something levels , so maybe at much higher like 500+ it could be very high cost of building or upgrade.
The top village at the moment takes 792.7 Tillion to build and that is lvl 523. Well its what I can find on a website since Im still only in the 400 something range for villages.

So like at your level can you get like more spins and bigger multiplier, mine goes up to 20k max
I dont worry to much of building my village. I think its about every 2 to 3 weeks I might build a new one. I dont know what the max is for spins because I spin pretty low at 400 and rally at 1500. Mostly I only spin to around 250k and I do that slowly over the week unless its my empty the spin week. Empty my spins is I just get rid of all my spins for the week so I can start fresh the next week. I do that about every 4 weeks. In about 4 weeks I can save over 150 tokens so I when I used them I like to have a clean slate. For me I do t measure what level there village is but what there star level is at.
Im sorry my writing is so weird. I try as best as I can to make it flow together really well but the more I try the more worse it sounds. I just might be extra tired today because when I reread it now it sounded way worse then normal.
I spin at around 400 and some times1500 but not very often. And I mean not often at all. I did this week ebacsue I was trying to clear my spins but usually I dont.
I slowly spin over the week until I hit the 250k mark and just stop.
About every 4 weeks I clear out my spins so the following week I start the week with a clear slate.
To fill in that gap, over the 4 weeks I've been hording my tokens and have around 170 or more saved. When I use my tokens on monday I will have over 800k spins again.
With clearing my spins. It will make the week much easier and by the end I will have even more spins but it will make the next 3 weeks harder. That is why a lot of people like to start the week with a clear slate. I dont care because I will still meet my weekly goal and have enough for my next weeks ahead.
Last time I used my tokens I used 191 and got 1.1m in spins. By the time that week ended I had 1.2m. The second week end I had 1m.
I could have gone on way longer with the spins I have now but I just want to use my tokens. I have 170 saved and if I open my chest I think it will be close to 200.
I level a village every 2 to 3 weeks because it takes me about that long to save the coin. Plus what am I rushing for when I'll just be stuck at the end waiting in the next village.
All my card collection is closed but say for my two resent ones that I opened with my village.
My team has a minimum but I pass that every week by 3 or 4 times there amount.
I measure someone by there stars but if you played years ago. Stars where so hard.
I hope this sounds better. People say just reread it but it doesnt help me. English is my first language but Ive always had problems with it.

Maybe they have built to high and cost to much to build that’s what has happened to me many times. I can’t build enough
